Transforming surplus food that would otherwise go to waste into products, effectively mitigating hunger while generating revenue.
Our Food System is Broken
This was made so apparent by the challenges we have faced during the pandemic. Regrettably, the issues with a Centralized Food Supply Chain, run by the Industrial Food Complex, were always there. They were just exposed by the pandemic. If we do not make systemic changes to our Food System and Food Supply Chain, then we will continue to see more disruption, more food insecurity, increasing poverty, and more farms failing.
None of us win unless
all of us win.
We are transforming the food system to work for everyone—farmers, ranchers, fisherfolk, food workers, and consumers alike.
Our mission is to launch, support, and grow food-related businesses in communities that have historically lacked access to funding, expertise, and opportunities, empowering them to build generational wealth and create lasting change.
Transforming surplus food that would otherwise go to waste into products, effectively mitigating hunger while generating revenue.
Advancing sustainability by generating revenue and employing a thoughtful approach to resource utilization.
Initiating, supporting, nurturing, and expediting food-related enterprises within communities that historically face barriers to funding, expertise, and opportunities. Our aim is to foster community equity and cultivate generational wealth.
Together, we are building a
stronger,
more sustainable,
and
just food system.
We have a default to action and embrace progress.
We seek knowledge, best practices, and collaboration.
We care for our
bodies,
minds,
spirits, and
communities.
Today should be
better than yesterday, and tomorrow must be
better than today.
The right kind…the Social Enterprise. People, Profits, Planet, and Purpose.

Under their guidance, Heal the Earth was born with a strong vision - one that goes beyond personal achievements and centers on a shared commitment to creating a more equitable, sustainable, and nourishing future for all.
Heal The Earth acknowledges, honors, and offers our gratitude to the Kumeyaay, Luiseño/Payómkawichum, Cahuilla and Cupeño/Kuupangaxwichem people and land.
We recognize that this acknowledgment does not replace action. As recent arrivals to this territory, we commit to building meaningful relationships with the original stewards of this land, and deepening our understanding of the history of colonization. Through the work our founder and team have done over the years in our food system and the work we continue to do, we seek to honor ancestral wisdom and Indigenous ways of life as essential solutions to healing people and our planet.
